And also has the mission to facilitate quality health service delivery through provision of quality training, conducting operational research, production and provision of health learning materials, and technical support in health related fields; using competent staff and appropriate resources available.

Short Courses

CEDHA serves as the Northern Zone Health Resource Centre (ZHRC) catering for four regions (Manyara, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Tanga), 29 districts and 30 Health Training Institutions (HTIs)

As a centre for continuing education; demand-driven short courses lasting for 1 – 6 weeks are periodically conducted. Such courses include teaching methodology, health systems research, health management and planning, primary health care, management of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, community-based health care and reproductive and child health.
