Centre for Educational Development in Health Arusha, REG/HAS/086, Government institution with full registration, Arusha, Full,it has the vision to be a leading and sustainable organisation in educational, research and consultancy serving both Tanzania and the East African community with a particular focus on health personnel education, health services management and continuous professional development in health. And also has the mission to facilitate quality health service delivery through provision of quality training, conducting operational research, production and provision of health learning materials, and technical support in health related fields; using competent staff and appropriate resources available.

CEDHA serves as the Northern Zone Health Resource Centre (ZHRC) catering for four regions (Manyara, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Tanga), 29 districts and 30 Health Training Institutions (HTIs)

As a centre for continuing education; demand-driven short courses lasting for 1 – 6 weeks are periodically conducted. Such courses include teaching methodology, health systems research, health management and planning, primary health care, management of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, community-based health care and reproductive and child health.

.MS-TCDC is a Training Centre for Development Cooperation in Eastern and Southern Africa. We are situated close to Arusha in Northern Tanzania (East Africa). Fire and Rescue Training Centre was formally known as Civil Aviation Training Centre; and it was established by UNDP and ICAO in collaboration with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania since 1985. Fire and Rescue Training Centre is situated at Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport which was formerly known as Dar es Salaam International Airport – Termina. Establishment of the Fire and Rescue Training Centre for the training of Fire and Rescue Personnel, aiming at self sufficiency in meeting long term needs, and others including expansion of air transport operations at improved levels of efficiency

INTERNATIONAL COURSES

Fire and Rescue Training Centre offered National and International Courses. The International courses which is not offered because of various problems such as; lack of Training facilities and Fire Drills. These courses are recognisable by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and is offered to Airports fire and Rescue personnel; and these courses is registered by International Standard Organisation (ISO) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to be offered at the College. The following are the courses (International):-

Organizational profile

Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) was established under the public corporation Act No. 17 0f 1969 by the president order through Government notice number 115, published on 25th August 1978.

The Centre is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and operates under the Purview of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The Centre operates as a fully-fledged commercial entity without Government subvention. The provision of conference services is the core business. However, AICC also rents offices at the headquarters’ complex and housing units in Arusha Municipality. The Centre also provides health services through its medium sized 32 bed hospital in Arusha Municipality.
