KIITEC is a day school offering a selection of academic programs leading to a National Technical Award Level Six (NTA-6) Diploma upon successful completion of three years of study.
The programme’s first year begins with compulsory courses across all disciplines. Enrollment
Each year, 32 young men and women are selected through a carefully designed enrollment test and counseling session where test scores are reviewed and training programs discussed to help applicants in their career choices.
Admission Requirements
KIITEC draws its students from all regions in Tanzania and across East Africa who have a technical or science background and a completed Certificate of Secondary Examinations (CSEE).
Students wanting to enroll must:
- Have GCSE O level with a good average in Math, Physics, Science, and English or have several years of industrial experience
- Have developed logical aptitudes and be able to demonstrate seriousness, determination and creativity
- Be prepared to participate in team-based activities, develop communication skills and create technical devices
- Be skillful with a well-balanced approach to theory and development
- Be prepared to meet the challenge of acquiring a good level of knowledge and a rewarding professional position, even to create your own job
After application, the applicants are subject to Entry Exams, which include Mathematics, English and Logic. Upon success, an interview is conducted to determine the motivation, attitude, and character of each applicant.
