Jaffery Academy, founded in the year 1992 is owned by the “KSIJ” Arusha. The Philosophy of the Academy is based on the precepts, principles and visions of Saint Ja’far “The Truthful”. Whose message to humanity at large is to “Spread the light of Wisdom and Truth” and inspire and emphasize oneness of God and universal brotherhood.
Saint Ja’far was a polymath he was an astronomer, alchemist, Imam, Islamic scholar, Islamic theologian, writer, philosopher, physician, physicist and scientist. He was also the teacher of the famous chemist, J?bir ibn Hayy?n (Geber) and of Ab? Han?fa the founder of the Hanafi school of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence. Jaffery Institutions have been established in the true spirit, vision, wisdom, and tradition of Saint Ja’far and named after him.
