East Africa camps needs an individual males from East Africa with high skills and experience in Management especially campsite management, improvement and maintenance, Oversight of Camp, Supervision of Food Services and camp accommodation,  a person who gets the job done efficiently, to ensure the quality control of our service and overall of the employees towards positive attitude of getting job done efficiently.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Management Skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills 
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook and Internet & E-mails
  • Intermediate knowledge of major accounting software packages especially Quick Book for both general ledgers.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. 
  • Excellent verbal, and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of management team.   

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Diploma of Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited university. 
  • Four to six years progressively responsible experience in the management level preferably in the Tourist & hospitality industry especially camp sites.
  • Driving license class C will be a plus.

General Daily Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing  the camp.
  • To monitor employees performance and ensure all are doing their job responsibilities accordingly.
  • To communicate with the reservations department  at the main office in Arusha daily checking the booking status of  the camp
  • To Interact with  accounts department on monthly budget.
  • To communicate with procurement & stores department to confirm orders of  drinks and supply of food.
  • To monitor daily sales drinks in the camp and ensure to deposit cash sales on time as directed by accounts department.
  • Oversee the food service and dining area of the camp.
  • Oversight of menu planning, ordering food and kitchen supplies; maintaining costs within prescribed budget.
  • Manage bookings and respond to clients inquiries.
  • To conduct monthly inventory with procurement and stores department
  • Administer/monitor day to day life of the camp in general.
  • To do a meet / greet and brief clients upon arrival
  • To prepare monthly report of the camp
